Overview: On behalf of a private equity backed multibillion turnover (£10BN+) household brand, we are seeking an exceptional Pricing Director to lead and transform the group's pricing strategy. This is a high-impact, board-visible opportunity with a multi-billion-pound organisation that is looking to strengthen its commercial edge through best-in-class, dynamic pricing capability.

The Role: Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a strategic and commercially pivotal role where you will be responsible for shaping and driving the group-wide pricing agenda. The successful candidate will play a critical part in delivering commercial value, revenue growth, and margin enhancement through data-driven pricing strategies. This includes building scalable frameworks, identifying quick wins, and driving long-term transformation across a complex, B2B-oriented environment. You’ll work cross-functionally with commercial, finance, product, and data teams to embed pricing excellence into the core of the business. The organisation operates at scale, and as such, this role requires someone capable of influencing and leading in a sophisticated, multi-business unit environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement a cohesive pricing strategy across a multi-division group, aligned with broader commercial and financial objectives.
  • Lead the transition from traditional pricing models to more agile, dynamic B2B pricing strategies.
  • Build and develop pricing frameworks, tools, and governance structures.
  • Deliver actionable insight using data analytics and competitor benchmarking to improve margin and customer value.
  • Partner with the CFO and wider C-suite to drive strategic initiatives and value creation projects.
  • Champion a pricing culture across the organisation through education, tools, and senior stakeholder engagement.
  • Monitor and evaluate pricing performance, adapting strategies in real-time where needed.

Candidate Profile:

We’re looking for a proven commercial leader with deep expertise in B2B pricing strategy, preferably within a large-scale, complex or matrixed organisation. You will bring a blend of technical pricing know-how, strategic vision, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Essential Requirements:

  • Extensive experience leading pricing functions within large-scale B2B organisations.
  • Proven ability to deliver measurable value through strategic pricing initiatives.
  • Experience designing and executing dynamic pricing models (ideally tech-enabled or AI/ML-supported).
  • Hands on experience with pricing tools and software, implementing data transformation business wide.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with the gravitas to work alongside a FTSE C-suite.
  • Data-driven mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A track record of driving change in complex or multi-brand environments.

Why Apply?

This is a career-defining opportunity to influence a major retail group’s strategic trajectory, backed by board-level support and significant investment. The business is well-positioned for growth, with pricing as a key lever for commercial success. If you’re ready to lead pricing transformation on a national scale – this could be the move for you.
