An excellent opportunity has arisen for a P402 qualified Asbestos Surveyor to join a well-established and steadily growing consultancy team. If you're looking to work on a diverse range of domestic and commercial properties - covering housing, hospitals, universities, and schools - this could be the ideal role for you.
Due to continued growth, this permanent position offers the chance to become part of a settled and supportive team, working across a broad region from Greater London down to the South Coast.
Role Responsibilities:- Carry out HSG264 compliant management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys under DSC UKAS ISO17020 accreditation
- Collect bulk samples from both built environments and asbestos-contaminated land
- Provide technical input for asbestos management plans, abatement specifications, and risk assessments (including pre-acquisition assessments)
- Facilitate asbestos inspections, including annual re-inspections of previously identified ACMs
- Assist with data management and project documentation
- Contribute to the delivery of technical consultancy on asbestos compliance and lead sampling
- Support project management of asbestos removal works, including method statement reviews and site audits
- BOHS P402 qualification (or equivalent)
- Ideally 2+ years of practical asbestos surveying experience
- Strong knowledge of UK asbestos legislation and survey techniques
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
