My client is a well-established full service hydraulic company, offering a top draw professional 24/7 hose servicing service. Priding themselves on the ability to offer emergency service to clients by attending site and assisting with the replacement of hydraulic hoses in all weathers.
As a Depo Assistant Manager, you will be workshop based and tasked with being the centre's first point of contact for clients, completing hydraulic hose assembly, supporting field based engineers and pushing sales.
Location: Manchester/Wigan/Oldham
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (DOE)
Benefits: 23 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, Overtime, On Call, Bonus, van, health care and pension.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Providing a quality service to clients.
- Assisting the Centre Manager with stock control, ordering and distributing stock to field-based engineers.
- Assembly of hydraulic hoses based on clients’ needs.
- Acting as the first point of contact for customers.
- Ensuring all jobs are recorded correctly on internal CRM system.
- Promoting company products and services.
- Ensuring HSE is followed.
- Always communicating with clients and staff.
- Attending centre meetings as and when needed.
- Always being well presented and using correct PPE.

- Understanding of hydraulic hose replacement process is a benefit.
- Experience in a similar customer facing role.
- Experience working with mechanical machinery including plant, motor etc.
- Able to communicate technical information to all personnel.
- The ability to present yourself professionally.
- Hydraulic hose experience.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Confident to work independently.
- Full UK driving license.
