A long-standing and highly regarded fire and security firm is seeking a skilled Fire and Security Project Engineer to join their growing team. Role and Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out the Installation through to Commissioning of Fire & Security Systems including: Fire alarms, Intruder alarms, CCTV & Access control
  • Working on commercial sites across the UK alongside a team of other engineers
  • Providing technical support and guidance to other installation engineers when needed
  • Helping to ensure projects are delivered on time and to very high standards
  • Adhering to all relevant health & safety protocols and company procedures
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Proven experience in fire and security industry, ideally with previous project engineering position
  • Excellent technical understanding of fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder detection systems
  • Familiar with British Standards and relevant UK fire & safety regulations (BS 5839, BS EN 50131, etc.)
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Full UK driving licence or equivalent is essential - a willingness to travel is required
