Lab Technician required for a laboratory offering testing of a wide variety of lighting and electronics products based in Bridgend. Laboratory Technician – Electrical / Lighting Overview Perform testing of lighting products in Safety and Photometry test laboratories. Planning and completion of testing allocated samples in a timely manner. Set up, conduct and record practical work. Analyse output records and calculations. Complete standardised test results worksheets for customers. Takes responsibility for the completion of tasks. Takes responsibility for and maintains laboratory areas and test equipment. Continual contribution towards the laboratory’s conformance to ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation. Work with senior management to identify issues in operational efficiency and propose solutions to these issues and in some case to implement the changes necessary, in line with ISO/IEC 17025 quality management system.
