About The Role Team Actuarial – Health Working Pattern – Hybrid 2days per week in the Vitality Bournemouth Office.Full time, 35 hours per week. What this role is all about: As a Senior Actuarial Analyst, you will be supporting various actuarial reporting requirements such as capital, valuation, reserving and profitability. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in key actuarial areas, develop technical skills, and contribute to the financial stability and strategic decision-making of Vitality. You would be supporting Actuarial Analysts in their development. Key Actions Implement the Actuarial Control Cycle: Data Management: Identify and define data. Manipulate, adjust and analyse data. Create or define processes. Modelling: Build appropriate models or develop pre-existing ones. Identify, document and understand the implications of key assumptions used in models. Identify and quantify risks and opportunities. Define solutions, recommending the most appropriate. Reporting: Validate results with knowledge of business/ external environment.
