There is now a requirement for an IT Field Engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will develop and become competent in supporting all the company’s products.
Location: Newcastle / Manchester
Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 + £350 per month car allowance
Benefits: 23 days holiday + bank holidays, rising 1 day a year for 5 years.
About the Role: The role entails supporting clients on a variety of platforms & systems, including Mitel, Aruba, Cisco and others. Our client base includes some of the largest hotel chains in the country, including Marriott, Best Western, Hilton and Holiday Inn. Excellent communication skills and a professional approach are vital as you will be interacting with customers on a daily basis. You will have a good understanding of customer networks, VOIP, wi-fi, DHCP, DNS, and more. The successful candidate will be required to travel from home to customer sites across Manchester, Newcastle and Scotland.
Requirements - Preferred but not essential:
- Experience with the Mitel Platform
- Experience with general VoIP/SIP concepts
- Experience with general IT Networking, Cisco, DNS, DHCP
- Experience with Aruba Wi-Fi solutions
- Experience with Switches, Routers and Networks
