Hybrid Financial Adviser

Up to £45k depending on experience, Generous commission/bonus structure in Horsham or Chelmsford.

My client is looking for an experienced Financial Advisor for their offices in either Horsham or Chelmsford. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in financial planning and investment advice, and who is committed to delivering client-best interest outcomes and upholding firm principles.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Engage with clients to assess their financial needs and goals, discussing their expenses, income, insurance coverage, financial objectives, tax status, and risk tolerance.
  • Develop tailored financial strategies for clients, recommending suitable financial products and services.
  • Analyse client financial data to guide them towards profitable and secure financial decisions.
  • Maintain and cultivate a client base, building strong relationships and networking to generate leads.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and conduct market research to support financial consulting.
  • Prepare financial document summaries, investment performance reports, and income projections for clients.
  • Regularly review client accounts and plans to recommend necessary adjustments based on life or economic changes.
  • Assist in supervising trainee advisers and support the Sales Manager and Sales & Development Director with daily duties.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Relevant financial industry qualifications (essential).
  • Experience as a Financial Adviser is desirable.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to explain complex information clearly and simply.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and empathise with clients.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation skills, and a strong command of the English language.
  • Knowledge of FCA Principles, Code of Approved Persons, and FIT handbook.
