SRG are working with a leading pharmaceutical company to find an R&D Scientist located in Slough on an 18-month contract.
This lab-based role involves designing, executing, and analyzing experiments to optimize and scale-up bioprocesses for biologics production.
- Maintain our client's Pharma & Biotech as a leading contract manufacturer through the development and optimization of new mammalian cell culture technologies.
- Set up, operate, and maintain lab-scale bioreactors for mammalian cell culture.
- Plan and execute several complex (non-routine) lab-scale fed-batch and perfusion bioreactor process development and optimization.
- Generate experimental results and review respective scientific documentation.
- Ensure lab procedures are adhered to and support safety assessments.
- Perform other lab duties as assigned.
- General housekeeping activities or upkeep and smooth laboratory operation.
Supervision Received: Close Supervision. The incumbent performs a variety of routine work within established policies and procedures, and receives detailed instructions on new projects and assignments.
