Pektron Group Ltd is searching for a Production / Manufacturing Engineer who will, through the use of design, quality and lean tools ensure that all products are made efficiently and to the defined quality level using new and existing technologies. HQ in Derby is home to our Engineering, Manufacturing, Design, Testing, Quality and Support functions, whilst our Sales and Technology centre in Detroit supports our customers in the US.
- Being competent in CAD packages eg Autocad/Solidworks/Catia to work with above
- Experience with manual methods of assembly of metal cases, plastic enclosures, prestige parts etc
- Process experience in automation, optionally including potting, auto-dispense systems, ultrasonic welding, laser welding (plastic), printed circuit board assembly etc
- Minimum 5 year experience as Production Engineer in a relevant background
- Working with New Assembly Technologies
- Supporting Shop Floor and Production Engineers
- Shop Floor Support
