The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Kitchen Manager at the beautiful soon to be invested Parkwood in Stockton on Tees. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a fast-paced kitchen, delivering exceptional meals while assisting in the training and development of kitchen staff. You must thrive under pressure, ensuring that every dish is not only tasty but also beautifully presented for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.
  • Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff to enhance their skills and maintain high standards.
  • Maintain hygiene and safety regulations in accordance with EHO 5-star standards.
  • Execute cooking orders during busy meal services, prioritising efficiency and quality.
  • Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and optimising food costs while minimising waste.
  • Foster clear communication with both back and front of house teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Address any kitchen issues promptly and efficiently to maintain smooth service.
  • Ensure all food items are stored, prepared, and served according to recipes and portion standards.
  • Oversee proper handling of kitchen equipment and hazardous materials, ensuring staff safety.
  • Take pride in maintaining standards across the board.
