NAS Recruitment are currently recruiting Reach forklift operatives for our client in Bathgate, required for dayshift positions with immediate starts available. This role involves working at a large distribution centre. These are temp to perm positions and will lead to permanent employment providing attendance/timekeeping and performance are to required levels. Candidates should have a valid reach truck licence, although refresher training can be provided for any that have recently lapsed. Dayshift hours of work are from 06:00 to finish (typically around 14:00) but can vary. Candidates will work any 5 days from 7 on a rota basis. Day rate from £14.68 per hour Due to the location and start times, candidates must have their own transport unless they are within walking or cycling distance to the site. The role will involve assisting with loading/unloading vehicles and organising stock within the warehouse. Candidates will also be required to assist with order picking duties at times . Please note the work can be repetitive and involves a degree of heavy lifting. Candidates will also be required to pass drug and alcohol screening at induction.
