The Opportunity
Due to continuing growth within the organisation, we are seeking to expand our Civils Team offering by employing dedicated resources in this area. Working with a high performing, service-oriented, collaborative team. This is an exciting time for Robert Bird Group, as we go through continual expansion and have a full portfolio of landmark buildings and infrastructure projects which presents an opportunity for someone looking to further their career within a thriving engineering consultancy.
Duties
- Motivate and lead project teams to deliver optimised and sustainable design and construction solutions
- Preparation of tenders/bids and fee proposals to capitalise on work winning opportunities
- Financial management to include cost control, invoicing, collecting, preparing and compiling fee forecast and projections
- Resource planning - allocating and assigning resources to project teams
- Developing Senior and Design Engineers in their professional development
- Supervising other colleagues under your direction and offering pro-active advice in relation to problem solving issues.
- Compliance with, and overseeing implementation of Health and Safety policies and procedures
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
- BEng (Hons) or MEng (Hons) Chartered Status with ICE or equivalent
- Relevant engineering experience
- Demonstrated capacity to provide leadership to project teams
