Our Project Engineers manage all aspects of their projects including initial scoping of the need, competitively tendering the work, contractor procurement, site set up and inductions, and health and safety inspections, through to commissioning, training and handover to the operations teams. What you will be doing as a Project Engineer Managing and delivering a portfolio of Mechanical, Electrical and ICA projects, with a typical value of £40,000 to £400,000 per project. Responsibility for up to 15 live projects at any one time, with further projects in the scoping and tendering phase. Developing innovative and modern solutions to operational problems, making our sites more efficient and delivering value for money for our customers. Working with our operations teams and contractors to scope, define and cost solutions that are both cost-effective and have minimal risk. This includes the Controller of Premises for the site you are working at. Delivering our zero-compromise health and safety attitude to all contractors working on your project. Working Hours – Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week. What you should bring to the role Have a background in Engineering, such as Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering.
