Team Assistant – Finance

Location: London (West End)
Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £35K
Office Hours: 9am to 6pm – hybrid working

We are seeking an experienced Team Assistant to support the finance function of a private family office environment in Central London. This role will suit an agile and proactive professional, who is able to collaborate effectively while also having the self-drive to work autonomously. The successful candidate will have sound knowledge of accounting and finance practices, with the ability to problem solve and multitask. You will work within a close-knit team, with excellent benefits and flexibility.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Processing and tracking all invoices, with direct follow-up, where required
  • Monthly creditor statements and credit card reconciliations
  • Data analysis and making recommendations for reduced expenditure
  • Establishing, verifying and maintaining banking details for all entities
  • Liaising with external stakeholders, where needed
  • Ad-hoc project support and other administrative duties

This role will suit an agile, independent and proactive professional. You will have:

  • Previous experience working within an Accounts or Finance Team
  • Structured and methodical approach, with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Self-drive and reliability to work autonomously
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Professionalism and confidentiality
  • Outstanding communication skills to liaise with all levels of seniority, internally and externally
  • Commitment and longevity, with the desire to contribute to the business long-term
