Our client, a dynamic and growing telecom services provider based in central Scotland, is seeking a Channel Partner Manager to join their expanding team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in an innovative, fast-paced environment, where you’ll be instrumental in driving growth and revenue through strategic partnerships.

About the Role

As Channel Partner Manager, you will play a crucial role in acquiring, nurturing, and managing relationships with key telecom and IT channel partners. You will be responsible for enabling partners to effectively sell DB Comms' comprehensive suite of telecom services, helping them meet their business objectives and drive mutual growth. The ideal candidate will be proactive, results-driven, and possess excellent communication, relationship management, and business development skills. This role provides the opportunity to work independently, while also collaborating closely with internal teams and partners to deliver exceptional service and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner Acquisition & Onboarding: Identify, recruit, and onboard new strategic channel partners in line with business objectives.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders in partner organizations.
  • Partner Enablement: Develop tailored plans to support partners, including product training, sales support, and marketing resources to drive success.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with partners on joint sales strategies, providing ongoing support throughout the sales cycle.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track partner performance against targets, analyze results, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for partners, ensuring clear communication on product updates, promotions, and company news. Collaborate with internal teams to support partner needs.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and refine the channel strategy.
  • Account Management: Manage existing relationships, ensuring high partner satisfaction and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure all partner activities align with company policies and procedures.

What You’ll Bring

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in channel sales, partner management, or business development within the telecommunications, IT, or related industries.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of achieving targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and travel across the UK as required.

Knowledge & Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of the channel sales model and partner relationship management.
  • Ability to understand and effectively communicate technical product information.
  • Familiarity with partner portals and enablement platforms is a plus.
  • Existing network of contacts within the telecoms, IT, or energy broker channel is highly desirable.
