Job Description
- Provide expert legal and regulatory advice to internal teams and industry stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional projects relating to standards development and regulatory compliance
- Translate complex legal and policy concepts for non-technical audiences
- Contribute to the development of business cases and economic assessments
- Support the delivery of commercial and strategic programmes
- Coach and guide team members to build regulatory competence across the organisation
- Engage with industry stakeholders to ensure alignment, acceptance, and delivery of outcomes
Essential Requirements:
- Degree (minimum 2:1) or equivalent relevant experience
- Strong legal and regulatory background within the rail or transport industry
- Experience in developing business cases, impact assessments, or policy papers
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proven leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- Ability to adapt in a changing environment and grasp technical subject matter quickly
Package:
- Salary of £58,000 – £65,000 (dependent on experience)
