<b>Job Description</b><p><b>z/OS Systems Programmers – Contract Opportunities</b></p><p><b>Roles will mainly be remote working with travel maybe a few times a month (South Yorkshire) – Candidates need to be UK based with correct Right to Work Documents</b></p><p><b>Day Rates circa £580 inside of IR35 </b></p><p>Looking for highly experienced z/OS Systems Programmers who have technical, domain level and specialist experience to ensure that engineering services are operated, maintained and constantly upgraded as technology advances within our Clients business.</p><p>Role will involve installing new versions of z/OS operating system and 3rd party products in various regions within UK, Europe and the USA.</p><p><b>Must Have Skills:</b></p><ul><li>Upgrading, maintaining and supporting z/OS operating systems</li><li>Upgrading, maintaining and supporting ISV products particularly from the vendors IBM and Computer Associates (CA)</li><li>Must have extensive experience of Mainframe systems programming.</li><li>Must have knowledge of a combination z/OS, SMP/E, TSO/ISPF, USS, SDSF, JCL.</li><li>Must have knowledge of IBM and CA Products and be able to work independently</li><li>Strong problem solver and communicator, good at building relationships.</li><li>Will have ideally worked within FS or highly regulated Industry for Global organisations</li></ul><p><b> Experience of Rexx, ACF2 or RAFC would be useful to have but not mandatory </b></p><p>Myles Roberts is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.</p>
