The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We are pleased to confirm that an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Installation Project Engineer, within the Capital Project Team. This is a key role in supporting the delivery of a wide range of projects, driving the business forwards. The role is factory/workshop based and will require mechanical, electrical and fabrication competence.

Job Profile:

  • To support the capital projects team with the installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Support the continuous improvement function with a wide range of equipment upgrade projects, taking responsibility for identifying engineering solutions and seeing them through installation and commissioning
  • Minor upgrade and overhauls to existing assets on site
  • Attend required meetings and communicate project updates to key functions

Skills and Experience:

  • Multi skilled Apprentice served Engineer
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Mechanical experience, Bearings, seals, coupling drives, etc.
  • Fabrication experience
  • High level of H&S Knowledge
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team
  • To identify labour saving and productivity improvements
  • Strong communicator, verbally and written

Hours:

7am – 3.30pm with an early finish on Fridays

This position is with an excellent, very well established organisation. They have a family feel to the business, where everyone’s voice/opinion matters and they are always looking for new and innovative ways to improve.

They have a considerable capital budget, which is always well utilised and have a strong, technical, experienced team, and are more than happy to help grow and mentor a hands-on engineer, to become a Project Manager within the team.

If you are a field services or shift engineer with installation experience and looking to move into projects on a large static site, with Monday to Friday normal working hours, then this opportunity would be ideal for you.
