Reed Professional Services is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Consultant to assess and address critical issues within the Microsoft Certificate Authority. This role involves providing expert advice and a strategic approach to resolve existing challenges with the deployment of Windows 11 and related network issues.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Conduct a thorough assessment of Microsoft on-prem PKI to identify and understand the core issues.
- Provide an independent view and strategic recommendations on the best approaches for resolving the issues.
- Work closely with internal teams and Microsoft to expedite solutions.
- Lead and drive the solution process, offering expert advice and innovative ideas to streamline and enhance system operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in an infrastructure role with a specialized Microsoft skillset.
- Extensive experience with Active Directory, Windows 11, and other Microsoft technologies.
- Profound knowledge of Windows Server 2019, as all certificates and applications are based on this platform.
- Expertise in Certificate Authority, specifically with Microsoft PKI certificates.
- Experience with the 8021x platform for configuration and deployment.
- Excellent communication and strong written skills.
- Proactive and leadership-oriented, capable of driving solutions in an advisory capacity.
