We are thrilled to offer several fantastic opportunities for passionate and experienced Employment Law Consultants/HR Advisors to become part of a renowned and respected HR consultancy based in the vibrant city of Glasgow. In this role, you’ll collaborate within a dynamic team, delivering legally sound advice and tailored solutions to clients via telephone and email. Your expertise in HR and Employment Law will play a crucial role in meeting the unique business needs of each client. HR Advisor/Snr Employment Law Consultant Salary: £28,000- £38,000 Location: Glasgow City Centre, Fully Office Based, Hours vary on choice* Key Responsibilities: To ensure that personal knowledge of HR and Employment Law is continually updated. To achieve the standards set within the performance framework to support all clients with quality advice in a productive manner within set Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to provide an efficient solution-based advice, through telephone – this will be calling only advice. To actively own and lead cases to resolution, building rapport and relationships with clients on each interaction. To undertake Welcome Calls with new clients and discuss with them the software, our services and products. To support other Consultants coming into the business as requested. To deliver training to colleagues and clients as required. To log all advice accurately onto the bespoke internal system, taking ownership and responsibility for ongoing cases. To signpost clients to pre-prepared documents and letters that are available within the HR software. To review, via call advice, client documentation and provide feedback and advise accordingly, taking into consideration their internal terms and conditions on each case. Follow internal protocols for managing and escalating cases where applicable to ensure high quality handovers. To offer the client options regarding utilisation of other products and services we provided and make such recommendations accordingly. To have a high level of knowledge and breadth of employment law and HR matters in order to deal with complex and end to end cases. To carry out other tasks that are deemed necessary by the Management Team. What you bring: Proven experience in Human Resources or related field Strong knowledge of HR practices and Employment Law Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal CIPD Lv.5 and above is desired, although CIPD Lv.3 and experience will be considered. Study support to further progress your HR career is offered upon completion of the probation period. Ability to build strong relationships with clients. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Structure: 5 – 42.5 hours, Monday to Sunday, fully office based (5 days a week) : Salary ranges from how many hours you do: opportunity to pick up more hours by doing an extra half an hour a day (40 hours), or an extra hour (42.5 hours a week). Shift pattern example: 6am-8pm: 6am-2pm, 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm, 11am-7pm, 12-8pm. Department is 24/7, so there is set night staff who work overnight but for their day staff, the shifts could vary between 6am to 8pm, working Monday to Friday and 1 weekend every 3 weeks, (i.e. work either a Saturday or Sunday but with a NWD in the week so it’s still 5 days per week).
