A little bit about the opportunity…
Hertford has a rich history, a wealth of shops, restaurants, attractions and events for local residents and visitors to the county town of Hertfordshire. Core is situated in the heart of this affluent area. Core caters to the later night crowd being the popular late night venue in town. Core is a 2 floor 2 bar operation which has recently had a sparkle to refresh and rebranded with a new focus on craft cocktails. We host monthly in-house brunch events, with plenty of opportunity to expand offerings under the guidance of a motivated General Manager. This is a dynamic venue with tremendous potential for growth.
A little bit about you...
We are looking for a General Manager to transform our venue into a vibrant sports-focused destination, while maintaining its late-night appeal. The ideal candidate will bring a fearless, entrepreneurial spirit, eager to take risks and act as the face of the business. This role offers the unique opportunity to establish the venue as a central hub for the community—a place where people gather for both sports and nightlife. A General Manager ready to lead, innovate, and create a true community hotspot.
