Air Conditioning Engineer

Are you an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer in the North West? If you’ve got a background in the service and repair of commercial air conditioning systems, this role could be exactly what you’re looking for. What’s in it for you? Basic salary: Up to £42,000 per annum (40 hour week) Other benefits include: 1 hour travel paid per day 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays + your birthday off Standby payment of £75 + £50 per callout + minimum 5 hours paid Call out incentive (in working time) £20 per callout attended, and a further First Fix bonus of £10 is paid. Quarterly bonus scheme Pension (Employer contributes 4% and Employee contributes 5%) Company van, tablet, phone and expenses where applicable Option for private use of the company vehicle Training courses and career progression opportunities 15 days sick pay (Following probation pass) Various other company incentives and rewards What you will be doing Working on a wide range of air conditioning equipment, predominantly VRV/VRF’s and splits on a variety of high profile/corporate/commercial contracts. Covering Manchester, Liverpool and the surrounding areas. What you’ll need Relevant City and Guilds/NVQ in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning/F-Gas qualifications Knowledge on major air conditioning manufacturers such as Daikin, Mitsubishi, Toshiba etc. Experience using service checkers is desirable but not essential (training provided) Knowledge on chillers would be beneficial Customer focused attitude and good communication skills Full UK driving license Who you’ll be working for You will be working for a well established service provider who have a wealth of experience in the industry and a team of highly knowledgeable engineers.
