Fire & Security Sales Consultant £30,000-£58,000 I Field based M4/A3 Corridor and London

You’re tired of rigid targets, micromanagement, or just being a number in your current company. We’ve worked with this independent, successful fire and security business for several years. They’re proud of their long-standing customer base, with some client partnerships lasting over 20+ years, and they’re now looking for a new team member to join their successful and experienced sales team.

This is a business development role focused on both sales and service contracts. If you’re commercially minded, enjoy autonomy, and want to work in a business that genuinely supports you, this could be a great fit.

You’ll likely enjoy this role if:

  • You’re currently working in the fire and security sector, perhaps handling service contracts or designing system solutions.
  • You come from an engineering solutions background and enjoy working closely with clients.
  • You’re looking for a field-based position, with time split between client visits, working from home, and occasional office time.
  • You want ownership over your pipeline and have success using a range of business development methods.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Growing and maintaining service and system contracts, with a focus on long-term client partnerships.
  • Spotting opportunities to upgrade systems and enhance contracts within the current portfolio.
  • Talking to clients about CCTV, intruder alarms, fire alarms, access control systems, and tailored service packages.
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Working alongside technical teams to deliver bespoke fire and security solutions.
  • Visiting sites, meeting facilities professionals, architects, contractors, preparing quotes, and collaborating with engineers and account managers.
  • Managing your own diary and workload, with full support from the wider team.
