Kitchen Assistant

Hours 1x Full Time (40hrs), 1x Part Time (32hrs) (to be discussed). Weekend and weekday availability essential. About the role Were on the hunt for a passionate foodie with plenty of kitchen experience to help out in our busy coffee shop. Youll be working alongside other kitchen assistants in the kitchen, so excellent communicative and teamwork skills are a must. A stellar knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards, including allergens, will be essential to this role. Youll be assisting the head of kitchen and other kitchen assistants with setting up the kitchen for service, preparing variable food items to order, and closing down the kitchen at the end of the service period. Responsibilities Preparing sandwiches, hot dogs and other savoury food offerings to order. Following prep recipes and setting up the kitchen for service, as well as closing it down at the end of the day. Adhering to food hygiene and safety standards at all times and maintaining an excellent level of cleanliness. This role may occasionally involve helping to prepare our donuts in the mornings.
