Senior Accountant (Practice) | Sheffield | £35,000 – £40,000

The Opportunity

Are you a versatile and experienced Accountant looking for a new challenge within a progressive and award-wining practice? Do you have experience of working within an independent firm and enjoy providing varied services to a wide client base?

We are currently supporting a superb local practice with an excellent reputation. Modern thinking, supportive, ambitious practice, able to offer a relaxed and enjoyable working environment with flexible working and a sensible work-life balance.

You will enjoy

You will be exposed to a highly diverse client portfolio base, with an extremely broad remit. The remit will initially include year-end accounting (for a wide mix of clients), client interaction and ownership, tax returns (corp. and personal), VAT, general client management and support.

You will ideally be a versatile qualified accountant with a strong track record within independent firms.

The role would suit a confident and diligent accountant looking for a new challenge within a practice that provide support, recognition, scope to develop and an excellent work life balance.

You will need:

• Relevant accounting qualification
• Demonstrable experience within a practice environment in a similar role
• Ability to self motivate and work autonomously as well as within a collaborative team environment.
• Someone with excellent interpersonal skills who enjoys interacting with a wide portfolio of clients.
