Our client is seeking a highly experienced and proactive Head of Operations to lead and oversee the successful delivery of our broad range of B2B events. As a key leader within the organization, you will play a strategic role in shaping the operations of a dynamic and fast-paced events portfolio, while mentoring and guiding a talented team to achieve excellence.

In this role, you will be responsible for the operational management of high-profile conferences, awards, and roundtables. You will oversee event logistics, budgeting, and team development, ensuring seamless execution of each event, from inception to post-event evaluation.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Event Management: Oversee the operational delivery of a portfolio of events throughout the year, ensuring high-quality execution from planning to post-event analysis.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of junior operations staff, providing regular performance reviews, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Design and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery without compromising quality. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to optimise resource allocation across the team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, editorial, and production teams to ensure alignment, smooth logistics, and effective delivery of event content.
