The basics:

  • Location: Hybrid - UK projects can be based near to Durham, Derby, Chelmsford.
  • Travel: 2/3 days onsite at the project/when the installation/project is live. The business also has sites in EU/China and India.
  • Package: up to £70,000 + £6000 car allowance DOE
  • Expenses: Travel and expenses paid
  • Structure: Reporting to the UK PM. Dependent on experience this could be a lead role/leading a team of 2/3 people. For less experienced people this would be part of the team.
  • Example projects: Machinery procurement, installation and commissioning - £0.5 million to £5 million.
  • Holidays and Benefits: 25 days + 8 bank holidays, after every 5 years' service an extra day holiday up to a max of 4 days. Pension - employer pays up to 3%. Yearly pay reviews.

Overview: Working for a first class precision engineering and fabrication business, we now require a Capital Projects Manager to join the team. You will be tasked to plan and organise projects throughout the various manufacturing facilities that host CNC machining and Fabrication.
