Senior Pump Engineer Role and Responsibilities:
- Working in the following sectors: Blue-Chip companies, Broadcasters, Retail Outlets, Hotel Chains, Private Housing, Social Housing, Education Establishments, Commercial Buildings.
- Take responsibility for the overall quality of the work delivered on-site.
- Carry out effective communications with the client and administration team.
- Ensure the company meets its obligations and adheres to guidelines and regulations laid down by the professional bodies they subscribe to.
- Installation, servicing, and maintenance of booster pump and sewage systems.
- Ensure all installations and works comply with relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot technical faults and deliver prompt, effective solutions.
- Assist with the training and development of junior engineers when required.
- Support the supervisor in monitoring team performance and output.
- Contribute to planning and strategic development of the pumps division.
- Build and sustain strong client relationships, providing a high standard of customer service.
- Prepare service quotations when required, in collaboration with the supervisor.
Senior Pump Engineer Skills and Experience:
- A Full UK Driving Licence or equivalent (Essential).
- Must hold a valid Confined Space Certificate.
- At least 5 years of experience working within the sector.
- Relevant qualifications are desirable such as IPAF, PASMA, CSCS, City & Guilds.
- A positive attitude and the ability to self-motivate is a must.
- Good product knowledge within the Pump Industry.
- Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
