The Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) (current or previous) - Essential
- Preferred: Diabetes Specialist Nurse (DSN) experience or strong background in diabetes care.
- Experience delivering training to healthcare professionals and patients.
- Strong knowledge of diabetes management, NHS structures, and CRM systems.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
- Ability to simplify clinical concepts, problem-solve, and provide patient-centred support.
- Confident with technology, digital training, and remote learning tools.
- Independent yet collaborative, with a willingness to travel, including overnight stays.
- Full UK driving license and potential for out-of-hours support.
The Role:
- Training & Education: Deliver engaging, evidence-based training to healthcare professionals and patients, adapting to diverse learning needs. Utilize digital tools for remote education when needed.
- Patient Support & Empowerment: Train patients and caregivers on CGM systems, fostering confidence in diabetes self-management. Provide empathetic support, collaborating with healthcare teams to enhance adherence and outcomes.
- Clinical Expertise & Support: Offer expert guidance, troubleshooting, and implementation support for CGM technology.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with patients, HCPs, and key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor. Support commercial teams with clinical insights.
- Operational Efficiency: Maintain accurate CRM records, optimize processes, and continuously improve training effectiveness.
