We are seeking a dedicated Catering Trainer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for culinary arts and education, looking to make a significant impact in training aspiring professionals.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging training sessions in catering and culinary arts.
- Develop and update curriculum and course materials according to industry standards.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of students and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive and conducive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance teaching methodologies and practices.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in the catering industry.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a relevant vocational area within the catering industry.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)/ Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
- Commitment to obtain the TAQA assessment qualification during the probation period.
- Determination to achieve a subject-specific qualification to enable training up to Level 3 within 2 years.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to inspire and motivate students.
