Project Engineer – Landfill/Earthworks – Somerset – 12-Month Contract – £320-£350/day (Outside IR35) We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a major landfill/earthworks project based in Somerset. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a long-term scheme, offering 12 months of work with competitive rates outside IR35. Key Details: * Location: Somerset * Duration: 12 months * Rate: £320 – £350/day (Outside IR35) * Start Date: ASAP Role Overview: As Project Engineer, you will support the delivery of a large-scale landfill/earthworks project, working closely with the site and project management teams to ensure technical and commercial objectives are achieved on time and to the highest standards. Responsibilities: * Manage and review engineering design and construction activities * Liaise with the client, contractors, and consultants to ensure project progress * Support the preparation of RAMS, ITPs, and quality documentation * Oversee earthworks activities, drainage, and associated civils works * Ensure compliance with environmental and health & safety regulations * Monitor project milestones and provide regular progress reports Requirements: * Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification * …
