We are looking for an ambitious Systems Integration Technician to join our client in York. Must be able to travel and work offshore.
Description: Ensure efficient and accurate integration of all technical aspects relating to ROV (remotely operated vehicle) products prior to and during FAT (factory acceptance testing). Provide technical assistance in the field (offshore and onshore) when needed.
Hours: 37 hours per week - Monday-Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform the commissioning and integration of ROV (remotely operated vehicle) products.
- Work closely with customers to complete factory acceptance testing (FATs).
- Serve as a field support technician on and offshore.
- Ensure a safe working environment as well as maintaining and servicing the integration test areas and equipment used.
- Interface with the engineering department on test specifications and procedures noting any deviations or discrepancies.
- Assist product support when required with faults or problems occurring off site, carrying out any in house testing or fault finding required.
- Be an active part of the on-call out-of-hours technical support rota once experienced to a suitable level.
- Commission and integrate ROV products to the required standards carrying out any necessary repairs or modifications in preparation for FAT’s with the customer.
- Complete factory FAT’s, passing on any customer requests.
