A Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer opportunity has come available in the Solihull area to be office-based focusing on technical delivery and project management of brownfield development projects.

As a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer, you will be part of a team of 8 delivering both geo-environmental and geotechnical GI consultancy projects from inception through to completion. The position may offer some site work but would mainly involve technical delivery and client management.

Reporting includes:

  • Geo-Environmental: desk study, ground investigation, land contamination assessments, remediation strategies, earthworks specifications, foundation land quality statements and validation reports.
  • Geotechnical: Phase 1, interpretation, basic foundation design, calculations, bearing capacity, settlements, earthworks etc.

Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer Specification:

  • Degree in Geology or Environmental Science with an MSc in contamination, environmental/biochemistry.
  • At least 5 years UK consultancy Ground Engineering experience across site investigation projects.
  • Competent writing and reviewing technical reports across geo-environmental and/or geotechnical engineering.
  • UK Driving license.
