- Location: Birmingham – NHS Hospital
- Duration: Ongoing
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch)
- Start Date: May 2025
- Rate of Pay: £33 - £37 per hour (PAYE)
What You’ll Be Doing:
Join our client’s team as a Band 8a Pharmacist and play a key role in improving the lives of oncology and haematology patients. In this role, you will:
- Provide specialist pharmaceutical care for oncology/haematology patients
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to optimise medication therapy
- Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe prescribing practices
- Offer expert advice to clinicians and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to service improvements
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current and valid GPhC registration
- Prior NHS oncology/haematology pharmacy experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role requires availability Monday to Friday, with flexibility where possible. The contract is ongoing, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
