Bracknell Hybrid based Role
Brief: Our client, one of the UKs top retailers, are looking for a Project Manager to join them on an initial 6 month contract basis to manage a new implementation of an Oracle Retail SaaS product to time, cost and quality metrics within a Pricing and Promotions workstream.
Accountabilities:
- Strong management of design, development, testing and implementation, ensuring delivery to agreed cost, time and scope
- Agreement on and management of roles and responsibilities between all parties
- Ensuring project plans are created and tracked against, including risk and issue management alongside third parties
- Ensuring a budget tracker is created and maintained in line with timelines and approved spend
- Ensuring there is a clear and adhered to RAID process, and that agreed tools are used and PMO/Portfolio deadlines met
- Providing regular status updates to the Sponsor, Business Lead and Steering Group
- Managing the day-to-day relationship and communication with the Sponsor, Business Leads and project team
- Managing the relationship with any third parties, building and maintaining collaborative ways of working
Key Skills:
- Demonstrable experience of successfully managing a highly complex technology upgrade implementation project with associated business transformation activity
- Demonstrable experience and skills in robust supplier management, managing multiple 3rd party teams
- Experience of Oracle Retail/ large SaaS upgrade projects is desirable and would be highly valuable to project success
- Evidence of recent delivery of Pricing capability
- Project and programme methods particularly Agile/ Product based delivery
- Evidence of well developed senior stakeholder management skills
- Track record of delivering outcomes within challenging timelines
