As a Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for helping to provide and maintain a safe, clean, positive environment. You will be working as part of a team to ensure that the residence and learning environment are all cleaned to a high standard following the health and safety policies and requirements.
You will be working within a homely environment with a responsibility for cleaning the communal areas and bedrooms this is not limited to but may include dealing with personal hygiene issues such as incontinence.
We are looking for someone who is able to work independently with a positive and proactive approach to obtaining high standards of cleanliness. We are looking for a self-motivated, flexible and efficient individual who takes pride in their work and understands the important part they play.
We do not require any specific experience for this role, some knowledge of COSHH, health and safety in the workplace and/or previous cleaning experience would be advantageous.

Be able to use domestic and professional cleaning equipment; powered floor polisher, vacuum cleaners Strip and make beds, cleaning of rooms as needed; toilets, showers, stairways, lobbies, windows, paintwork, corridors
Be responsible at all times for your own and others Health and Safety.
