Salt is working with a leading retailer who are seeking an experienced Digital Analyst to join on a fixed term contract. This role is pivotal in driving digital and website analytics across al elements of the digital ecosystem by delivering actionable insights to enhance conversion rates and optimise media spend efficiency. Hybrid working in Manchester (2 days onsite per week) Immediate start, 6-month FTC contract £40,000 salary As a Digital Analytics, you will: Testing and Insights Support: Partner with the team to develop a robust “test and learn” roadmap, supporting experiments with relevant analytics and insights to drive continuous improvement In-depth Analysis of Onsite Performance: Conduct deep-dive analyses into onsite behaviour, identifying trends and opportunities to optimize the user experience and conversion pathways Funnel Flow Analysis: Deliver insights into the customer journey, with a focus on understanding and improving the conversion funnel, identifying drop-off points, and proposing solutions Feature Performance Measurement: Collaborate closely with the Digital Product team to assess the impact and success of newly launched digital features, using data to inform feature enhancements and future development Reporting Roadmap Development: Lead the evolution of the reporting function, working with data visualization experts to ensure dashboards are tailored to business needs and provide relevant, easy-to-digest insights You will need: 3+ years of experience in Digital Analytics, and experience working in medium/large online businesses Proven experience in digital analytics, with a strong focus on website analytics and conversion rate optimization Proficiency in analytical tools and insights tools such as Google Analytics and Power BI Strong understanding of eCommerce metrics, conversion funnels, and customer journey mapping Ability to translate data into actionable insights and communicate them effectively to stakeholders Experience with A/B testing and a “test and learn” approach
