We’re working with an award-winning legal practice that’s expanding its family law team and is seeking a dedicated lawyer/solicitor to join one of their busy offices in Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a varied and interesting caseload within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. The Role

  • You’ll manage a broad caseload of family law matters, including:
  • Divorce, separation, and financial remedy cases
  • Private and public children law matters
  • Domestic abuse and injunction applications
  • TOLATA claims
  • Drafting Cohabitation and Prenuptial Agreements
  • Attending court hearings and representing clients where appropriate
  • Supporting colleagues across offices during leave periods
  • Actively contributing to the department’s growth and business development

You’ll also be responsible for effective financial management of your caseload, ensuring timely billing and the collection of fees.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years’ PQE (guideline only – all levels of experience considered)
  • Proven experience across the full range of family law matters
