HGV Technician Location: Longcliffe, Matlock, DE4 4BZ Salary: Competitive Hours : Monday Friday on a rotating shift system of morning and afternoons Established in 1927, Longcliffe Quarries Ltd is the UKs leading independent supplier of limestone powder, granules and aggregates. As one of the few remaining independent hard rock quarries in England, and one of the largest still family owned. We employ over 170 people, including those whose families also have worked with us for generations, and many of our employees have been with the company for over 25 years. The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HGV Technician to work on and maintain the fleet of Company Vehicles and occasional third-party repairs. You will be: Carrying out running repairs, testing and services Conducting diagnostics Troubleshooting to minimise vehicle downtime Maintaining and Inspecting HGVS, Trailers and occasional light vehicle repairs to a minimum of the DVSAs requirements and standards using software Assisting with breakdowns where required Skills and Qualifications Demonstrate competence or experience as a technician of HGV Vehicles Welding & Fabrication and Proficiency in diagnostics tools & equipment HGV driving licence (desirable) Good …
