This is an exciting opportunity to join a European focused private debt investor through an exciting period of growth. This is a growth hire that will report directly to a Senior Finance Manager and support senior management in day to day running of the group finance function.
The role will support the monthly consolidation process whilst managing the financial reporting and statutory requirements of multiple group entities. The role will hold the external relationships with auditors and tax consultants whilst supporting the wider function in oversight of payments functions. This role will work with senior management to improve processes and controls through automation and technologies.
What the job involves:
- Review and preparation of group financial statements
- Support the monthly consolidation process of multiple international entities
- Review and preparation of regulatory reporting and tax returns
- Develop strong relationships with auditors and tax consultants
- Support the wider group team in transaction management
- Support the development and improvement of technologies and automation
- Oversight and review of junior team members
Who we are looking for:
- Chartered Accountant
- Strong experience in financial reporting and accounting standards
- Experience in consolidations
- Experience working in the alternative investment industry is desirable
- Understanding of different tax reporting requirements
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Experience in data warehouses and data visualising tools is desirable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, proactive and with a strong work ethic
