To assist with project demand over the coming weeks, we are looking for qualified CNC Miller Machinists to support our Production and Inspection team on a contractor basis to ensure complex components are machined to high quality and to agreed deadlines.
If you have experience working with Matsuura, DMG, and Colchester 3-axis and 5-axis machines and a working knowledge of Fanuc and Heidenhain controls and can be available to start immediately, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities- Fully machine parts as required using 3-axis and 5-axis VMC's.
- Ensure quality of parts is to a high standard.
- Ensure on time delivery.
- Load offline programs and liaise with production engineer to optimise set up.
- Save all programs and set up sheets after every job.
- Assist Shift leaders and engineers with any tooling or material requirements.
- Safe operations of machines, tools and equipment.
- Ensure workshop standards are maintained and machines are kept clean at all times.
