Our client is currently looking for enthusiastic and attentive Mobile Auto Electrician/Master Technician to join their expanding team. With an unrivalled depth of PSV technical expertise, they require someone that can bring the right skills, knowledge and experience to continue to deliver this to their customers nationwide.
This is a mobile role that will predominantly cover the northern and central region of England, attending customer premises to diagnose and repair a wide range of PSV vehicles of all ages. However, some long-distance work is required when requested. The company is also proud to be agents of several bus & coach manufacturers which will mean carrying out warranty work as per their specifications.
Experience
- Must have a full UK driving licence with a maximum of 3 points
- Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in bus, coach and minibus auto electrical work
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Part 2/3 in Mechanical/Electrical Vehicles
- Experience of working in a field-based/external service engineer role
- Experience of working on passenger doors and passenger lifts being an advantage
- Confident with face-to-face customer interaction
- Proficient in working alone & good time keeping
- Daily reporting to Line Manager
- Must adhere to company policies and procedures
Job Remuneration
- 40 hours per week guaranteed
- Predominantly Monday to Friday however rare weekend or night shifts are expected when the business requires on a rotational basis.
- 25 Days annual leave plus 8 public holidays (Total 33)
- Paid from key on to key off
- £20-25 p/h depending on experience & qualifications
- Service Van, Fuel Card & Diagnostic software supplied
- Probation period of 6 months
Location Required
Preference in the Central England and South/East/West Yorkshire, Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire area, however other regions will be considered.
