The predicted salary is between 34000 - 42000 £ per year.

Cedar are supporting a key Public Sector client who are looking to hire 2 x Procurement Project Managers. These are newly created permanent positions and offer a salary of 40,000 up to 50,000 per annum plus a range of benefits. This role will be primarily home based but will require you to be on-site c1-3 days per month, depending on meetings, at offices in the North West.

The successful candidate/s will support a range of requirements covering key categories within the organisation and will be responsible for:

  • Preparing ITT documentation and bidder communications (which align with the Procurement Act 2023).
  • Working alongside key teams to obtain approvals, lead meetings and help navigate the end to end process.
  • Applying robust and consistent approaches to all procurement activities.
  • Ensuring effective communication of procurement programmes to ensure activities are completed when required by all involved.
  • Working collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure procurement documentation reflects requirements.

Candidates applying MUST HAVE:

  • Experience working in Procurement in the UK Public Sector marketplace - candidates without this experience will not be considered.
  • Experience running end to end Procurements is required - please note this role does not cover using Frameworks to run Further Competitions or Direct Awards.
  • Experience creating a Public Sector Framework would be advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Strong understanding of the Procurement Act 2023.
  • Ideally CIPS Level 5 qualified or working towards is required.
