Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced, discreet, and service-oriented Butler/Housekeeper to oversee and manage all household operations within a one-bedroom residence. The primary focus will be on supporting the principal in maintaining a high standard of living. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of luxury service, uphold the highest standards of hospitality, and proactively ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the household.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hospitality: Provide formal table service during mealtimes. Prepare and serve beverages (tea, coffee, etc.) as required.
- Nutrition: Oversee food and household item shopping, sourcing fresh organic produce whenever possible. Unpack food deliveries. Follow recipes, manage grocery lists, and prepare meals as needed.
- Household Management: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the household. Manage laundry and ironing duties with precision. Ensure that household supplies are stocked and well-organized.
- Additional Responsibilities: Assist with event planning and preparation as required. Maintain an inventory of household items. Uphold confidentiality and respect the privacy of the principal.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role within a private household or luxury service environment.
