Our client, a leading general contractor, has a new role available for an experienced Civils Contracts Manager. The Civils Contracts Manager will oversee the civil engineering components across a portfolio of construction projects. The successful candidate will be involved from the tender stage through to project completion, ensuring the effective delivery of site infrastructure elements.

Key Responsibilities

Project Oversight: Manage all civil engineering aspects of projects, including site infrastructure development, groundworks, earthworks, and foundations.

Tender Participation: Collaborate with the pre-construction team during the tendering process to provide insights on civil engineering requirements and methodologies.

Program Management: Develop and maintain detailed project programs, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project milestones.

Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives.

Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all civil works comply with relevant regulations and quality standards, conducting regular site inspections and audits.

Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, managing personnel and equipment to optimise project efficiency.

Requirements

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, with a proven track record in managing civil engineering aspects of construction projects.

Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of site infrastructure development, groundworks, earthworks, and foundation construction techniques.

Program Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to develop and manage comprehensive project programs.

Flexibility: Willingness to travel to various project sites across Ireland as required.

Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders.

On Offer

Competitive Salary: €85,000 – €100,000, commensurate with experience.
