PE Global is recruiting a Supplier Development Engineer for our industrial manufacturing client based in Peterlee. The role is an initial 12 month contract and the rate range for this role is £29.72 - £40.50 p/h.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as the trusted advisor for assigned supply base through the following functional responsibilities:
- Assessing potential suppliers via on-site Quality, Cost, Logistics, Development, Management (QCLDM) audits
- Driving implementation of Lean, BIQ, & APQP
- Continuously reviewing supplier capacity
- Assuring production readiness through rigorous review of supplier PPAP submission
- Being recognized as the expert in supplier quality
Requirements:
- Must have apprenticeship as minimum of education.
- Microsoft office experience essential.
- 5+ years SDE experience.
- Manufacturing, steel fabrication industry experience.
