A leading SME HVAC and Building Services contractor, established for over 20 years, is looking to invest in their M&E projects team to develop the M&E Project business of full small M&E fitouts within Healthcare, Local Authority, Finance, and Corporate Commercial on commercial properties within the M25 area. The company has an annual turnover exceeding £20 million and is rapidly expanding its portfolio.

The Successful Mechanical Estimator will be responsible for:

  • Sending enquiries to manufacturers and sub-contractors via emails and/or obtaining quotations via email or telephone.
  • Keeping enquiries' status updated within the tender review document (value, dates, contact point etc).
  • Printing and/or sending for printing the tender drawings and other tender documents.
  • Filing and organising the above documents.
  • Understanding BOQs and Drawings for take off.

The successful Mechanical Estimator will benefit from a basic salary of up to £70k dependent on experience, plus 22 days holiday, bank holidays, a bonus scheme after passing a successful probation period, and a car allowance.

The successful candidate will have experience producing accurate and detailed cost proposals and will need to have strong IT skills.
