Are you an experienced culinary leader with a passion for high-end events and large-scale catering? We are looking for a Banqueting Head Chef to elevate the dining experiences at our client's renowned 5-star hotel.
Role Overview:
As the Banqueting Head Chef, you will take the reins of the banqueting kitchen, overseeing a wide range of events including weddings, corporate conferences, gala dinners, and exclusive VIP functions. Partnering closely with the Executive Chef and the Events team, you will ensure the highest standards of food quality, seamless service, and innovative menu development to wow our distinguished guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of skilled chefs and kitchen staff
- Develop and execute menus for events ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale events with over 500 guests
- Uphold the highest standards in food quality, presentation, and taste
- Manage day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring adherence to budget, cost control, and hygiene standards (HACCP)
- Work alongside the Events and F&B teams to create exceptional and memorable experiences for guests
- Ensure the kitchen environment remains organized, clean, and professional at all times
About You:
- Proven experience as a Banqueting Chef or Head Chef in a luxury hotel or prestigious events venue
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to inspire a team
- Expertise in high-volume, fine-dining kitchen production
