The Role

As a Digital Design Executive, you will play a pivotal role in creating visually engaging content across our platforms. A significant focus of your work will involve designing high-quality commercial proposals and presentations for both digital and print formats. You will collaborate closely with our partnerships team to deliver impactful materials that align with Wanderlust’s ethos and appeal to our clients. In addition to commercial design, you will assist with the visual development of digital campaigns, print layouts, and multimedia storytelling. This role is perfect for a junior designer with a few years of experience who thrives in a dynamic, creative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Design

  • Proposals & Presentations: Design visually striking commercial proposals, pitch decks, and client deliverables in digital and print formats.
  • Collaboration: Work with the partnerships team to craft bespoke visual assets that effectively communicate Wanderlust’s value to clients and partners.

Digital Content & Website Design

  • Campaign Design: Assist in creating eye-catching digital campaigns for our WordPress site and associated event and award websites.
  • Editorial Support: Design visuals for website articles, newsletters, and social media platforms.
  • Brand Integrity: Ensure consistent application of Wanderlust’s visual identity across all digital touchpoints.

Print Design Support

  • Magazine Layouts: Collaborate with the editorial team to design magazine layouts and graphics, adhering to our print style guide.
  • Supplementary Materials: Contribute to print-based marketing materials and promotional content.

Video Content Editing

  • Short-form Content: Edit and produce short-form video content for social media, website, and marketing campaigns.
  • Multimedia Storytelling: Support the team’s video production needs to enhance audience engagement.

Team Collaboration & Support

  • Cross-functional Support: Provide design assistance across various departments as needed, particularly during high-demand periods.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: Proactively suggest design improvements to elevate project outcomes.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: minimum 2–3 years in a graphic design or digital design role, with a strong portfolio showcasing commercial proposals, digital content, and print work.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Design Tools: Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • WordPress Basics: Familiarity with designing for WordPress and a working knowledge of UX/UI principles.
  • Video Editing: Basic proficiency in tools like Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
  • Creative Flair: Strong visual design skills with an eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
